Free basic company search
A free search of our National Names Index will give you a company's registration number, status, town or suburb of registered office, review date and list of documents lodged with ASIC. Here's a list of the information you can get from a free online search.Do a free basic search online now
Pay for a detailed company search
A detailed company search, also called a company extract, provides additional information about a company such as:

Current and historical organisation information. Such information as type, status, registered addresses, roles within the organisation, share structure, members of proprietary companies*, charges and documents lodged.
* ASIC searches only show the top 20 members in each class of shares issued by a proprietary company. A person or organisation that owns shares in a proprietary company, but not sufficient shares to be a top 20 member, will not be shown on our records as being a member of that proprietary company.

Relational organisational information.
This contains information on the roles* and shares a selected company holds in respect of other organisations as well as licences held (eg security dealer).
* ASIC searches only show the top 20 members in each class of shares issued by a proprietary company. A person or organisation that owns shares in a proprietary company, but not sufficient shares to be a top 20 member, will not be shown on our records as being a member of that proprietary company.

Company charge information.
This contains details relating to all charges which have been registered against companies.
