If your business changes, eg you want your AFS licence to cover more financial services or products, you need to apply to vary your licence. To vary your licence you need to complete and lodge ASIC form FS03. You can complete and lodge this form online through the Licensee's portal.
To make sure that your application is assessed as quickly as possible it is important that the information you supply to us is correct and complete. If your application does not meet our requirements it could be returned to you, or refused or there could be substantial delays while we seek further information from you.
Before applying to vary your licence, you should also read the AFS Licensing Kit:
Part 1: Applying for and varying an AFS licence. Section F provides an overview of the variation application process. Part 2: Preparing your AFS licence or variation application. Thishelps you answer the questions in the variation application form and prepare your 'core' supporting proof documents. Part 3: Preparing your additional proofs. This explains any additional proof documents you might be asked to provide.
