Requesting an ASIC key using your ASIC Connect account

Before you can link information about your licence to your ASIC Connect account, you will need to request an ASIC key.

Here are the steps you need to follow for requesting an ASIC key using ASIC Connect.

Step	Title	Description
1	Go to ASIC Connect and log in to your account	For help using ASIC Connect see our support page.

2	Under the Do It Now box, select the Link a business/Request ASIC key	This will start the ASIC key request transaction.
3	Select No when asked if you have an ASIC key for your business	This is a mandatory field.
4	For Licensees: Select AFS Licensees from the drop-down box, enter the AFS Licence Number and select Request an ASIC key For Authorised Representatives: Select AFS Representatives from the drop-down box, enter the Authorised Representative Number and select Request an ASIC key	This is a mandatory field.
5	Confirmation	This will confirm your transaction has been submitted with ASIC.

For licensees, the ASIC key will be sent to your address for service of documents.

For authorised representatives, the ASIC key will be sent your principal place of business.

We will process your request immediately. Please allow for your normal mail delivery time.
