Registration
Through ASIC Connect, you can apply to register a business name and pay your registration fee online. The application takes around 15-20 minutes and you will get on the spot confirmation that your application has been submitted.
You can use ASIC Connect to update your business name details online. In most cases, you will receive confirmation on the spot that updates to your business name details have been made.
Some transactions are not yet available on ASIC Connect. These transactions must be completed in paper.
Once you have successfully registered as an approved SMSF auditor, use ASIC Connect to ensure that your information on the SMSF auditor register, including details such as names and addresses, is correct and kept up-to-date.
You can also use ASIC Connect to make a number of other notifications.
Online searching of our registers means you can get information quickly and easily.
You can view free information about entities such as companies, business name holders and SMSF auditors, check names availability, purchase register extracts and documents online. If needed, you can pay quickly and easily using a credit card. Company and business name search summaries link directly to the Australian Business Number (ABN) Lookup service when an ABN is displayed in the summary.
You don't need to sign up and create an account for this service.
