REP 88 Overview of decisions on relief applications: July to September 2006

The purpose of the report is to improve the level of transparency and the quality of information available about decisions we make when we are asked to exercise our discretionary powers to grant relief from provisions of the Act.
The report covers the period beginning 1 July 2006 and ending 30 September 2006. During this period we decided 578 applications. We granted relief in relation to 482 applications and refused relief in relation to 96 applications.
