Use this service when applying to register a user name and password for online access for:

If you wish to apply you will need your relevant ASIC reference number for:

a company officeholder - your corporate key
an ASIC registered agent - your agent ID number
an AFS licensee - your AFS licence number
an AFS authorised representative - your authorised representative number and the AFS licence number of your primary AFS licensee
a registered liquidator - your registered liquidator number
a registered auditor or authorised audit company - your registration number.

You will also need your personal details such as address and contact information. Your email address is essential.

You will also be asked to create a user name and password and a security question and answer that will be used as verification if you forget your password.

Because the service uses PDF files for printing, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. You can download it free of charge from Adobe's website.

ASIC Electronic Lodgement Protocol
When you apply you must read the the ASIC Electronic Lodgement Protocol (Conditions of use) and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.

User name and password
Your user name must be unique for the entity you wish to access online. It is important that you can remember your user name because if you forget it you will need to reapply. If you only intend to use our online services occasionally you may prefer to use something like your email address as your user name. This may help you remember the name when you logon.

Your user name and password will only be valid for the service you select eg registered liquidator. If you require online access to another service you will need to apply separately. If you wish you can use the same user name and password.

Security question and answer
You will also be asked to create a security question and answer. You should be the only person who knows the answer to this question. It should have nothing to do with your password. The system will use this answer to verify you if you forget your password. We will not be able to reset your password over the telephone. You will need to re-register if you do not know your user name and password, or user name and the answer to your security question.

The types of security question and answer that you could consider are 'What is my mother's maiden name?', 'What country was I born in?', 'What town was I born in?', 'What is my favourite colour?'. When considering your security question and answer it is recommended that you have a question for which there is only one answer, and that the answer is only one or two words.You must remember the format of the security answer, as the validation of your answer is case and space sensitive. If you do not provide the answer as originally set, a new password cannot be generated.

Print and save
Some applicants must Print a Participation Agreement, sign it and have the authorised officer from the nominated entity sign it. You can also save a copy to file if you wish. The signed Participation Agreement should then be sent to us at the fax number or postal address on the form.

Submit
You must Submit your application online to us using the Submit menu.

Finish later
Your application will be allocated a reference number. If you don't complete your application in one session you can resume it later by re-entering your user name, password and reference number.
