ASIC has accepted Benjamin Alfred Peters’ application for the cancellation of his registration as a company auditor after raising concerns about his role as lead auditor and engagement partner in the audit of a large proprietary company.

As part of its 2025–26 audit surveillance program, ASIC reviewed an audit of L Audit Pty Ltd, an authorised audit company of which Mr Peters is the sole director. ASIC identified significant audit quality concerns in several areas.

ASIC has also accepted L Audit’s application for the cancellation of its authorised audit company registration.
