We strongly encourage you to use our Regulatory Portal to apply as it provides:

a tailored application so that you are only asked questions relevant to you
pre-filled details wherever possible
fewer errors - the system will check that you have completed each applicable question and automatically verify some answers
faster assessing– we can begin to assess your application immediately as we will not have to re-enter information, and
a substantially reduced application fee

There is no standard paper AFS licence application. However, if you are unable to apply through Regulatory Portal (eg because you don’t have access to the internet) phone us on 1300 300 630.

Please note that it will take us longer to assess offline applications. You should allow for this if you are unable to apply through the Regulatory Portal.
