Glossary
Registrable Australian body is an entity that is eligible to become a registered Australian body. The entity must be a body corporate (excluding a company, an exempt public authority or a corporation sole), or an unincorporated body, that may sue or be sued or may hold property under the law of its place of formation. It cannot be a foreign company. See section 9 of the Corporations Act 2001.
