ASIC often plan interruptions to our online services so we can install system upgrades. This page contains details of planned or unscheduled outages to our online services.

| Australian Business Register (ABR) Joint Registration |
ABR Joint Registration allows for a business name and Australian Business Number (ABN) to be registered at the same time through the ABR website. |
| ASIC companies register search (public beta) |
Search for information about companies, check if company names are available or search for documents lodged with ASIC. Currently only free information is available, but paid company register information will be available later this calendar year. |

Used for registering and updating business names, financial advisers and authorised representatives. |

ASIC Connect Search is the online system used to search ASIC's register. Performing or purchasing paid searches on companies and business names. |
| ASIC Online Lodgement - Companies, Registered Agents, Auditors, Liquidators and Credit Licensees |
Used for lodging electronic documents for Companies, Auditors, Liquidators and Credit Licensees. This service is also used by Registered agents to make lodgements to ASIC registers on behalf of companies. |

Platform used by applicants onboarding to ASIC. |

Machine-to-Machine (m2m) is a web service technology. This requires agencies to develop software and their own user interface. |
| ASIC Connect Government access |
Search portal used by government entities to access the national business names register for free. |
| ASIC Regulatory Portal | Used by regulated entities with industry funding obligations, Self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) auditors, Australian passport fund operators and foreign passport fund operators and Trusted representatives of regulated entities – company employees, compliance officers, registered agents, or service providers to apply and maintain. |
| DataStream services | Used by Information Brokers. |
| EDGE Services |
Used by Registered Agents. This allows Registered Agents to lodge maintenance forms on behalf of companies and a variety of reports. |
| Australian short sellers without an Australian Company Number (ACN) or Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN) and overseas short sellers without a SWIFT Bank Identifier Code (BIC) must register before they can submit a short position report. | |
| Web service for reporting problems or possible breaches of the law that help ASIC regulate the financial system in Australia. |
