296 Notice of disqualification from managing corporation - bankruptcy or personal insolvency agreement

Purpose

ASIC is often notified of bankruptcies through the Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA). You can also use Form 296 (or a letter) to inform ASIC if you’ve been declared bankrupt or entered into a personal insolvency agreement. 

Auditors disqualified from managing corporations under Part 2D.6 must tell us by lodging Form 906.

Liquidators must tell us by submitting an RL30.
