Vary your AFS licence

You may need to vary the authorisations or conditions of your licence if:

  • the nature of your business changes (for example, you want your AFS licence to cover different financial services or products), or
  • one of the conditions of your licence requires change (for example, if you have a ‘key person’ condition on your licence and that person leaves your business).

If your business changes, for example, you want your AFS licence to cover more financial services or products, you need to apply to vary your licence.

Apply through the Regulatory Portal

Go to the Regulatory Portal and complete and lodge a Vary authorisations and conditions of an Australian financial services licence application form online.

Ensure the information you provide is correct and complete

To make sure that your application is assessed as quickly as possible it is important that the information you supply to us is correct and complete.

If your application does not meet our requirements, it could be returned to you or refused or there could be substantial delays while we seek further information from you.
