Lodging notices for publication on the ASIC Published notices website

Guidance for registered liquidators and others about publishing notices on ASIC’s Published Notices website.

What notices can you lodge?

Since 1 July 2012 we have required you to lodge most notices for publication with us on our stand-alone website: publishednotices.asic.gov.au. This replaced the requirement to publish notices in the print media (newspapers and the Business Gazette).

The types of notices that you will lodge with ASIC are:

  1. notices of winding up orders
  2. notices relating to appointments
  3. notices of meetings of creditors or members
  4. notices of intention to disclaim property
  5. notices calling for proofs of debt and intention to declare dividends
  6. company deregistration (ASIC publishes these notices).

How do I register to use the ASIC published notices website?

How do I lodge a notice for publication?

You need to select the "My notices" tab on the Homepage and then click "Create New Notice".

By following the prompts and selecting the appointment type, purpose of the notice and notice type, the website will provide the right template for you to complete so that the relevant notice can be prepared.

Once you are satisfied the notice is correct, you can add it to your shopping cart and then pay for it. You cannot lodge a notice for publication without payment.

You can pay for multiple notices with one payment. The website will direct you to a secure website for payment either via Mastercard or Visa.

Once payment is processed, the notice will automatically be taken to be lodged with ASIC for publication on the website.

The Corporations (Fees) Regulations set out the prescribed fees.
