Purpose
Use Form 205 to notify ASIC that a resolution has been passed or agreed to. Commonly used to change a company name or company type (e.g. from Pty Ltd to Limited), alter constitution or wind up company, voluntarily or involuntarily.

Steps to pay applicable fee by email
- Search for your organisation's payment details using BPAY and Post Billpay.
- Make the payment and attach a copy of the payment receipt to include with your lodgement.
Send a copy of the signed form by email to lodgement@asic.gov.au.
Email lodging details
- The email must include the form number, company name and ACN in the subject line.
- Forms changing company type must be lodged with Form 206 Application for change of company type
- Submit the form in PDF format.

Lodge by post
If you are unable to lodge via the above option(s), you can find the postal address on the PDF form.
You must pay the applicable fee when lodging the form by post, payment can be made by cheque or money order.
