In Module 7, you will learn about climate-related scenario analysis. Climate-related scenario analysis is a method for exploring the potential impact of climate-related risks and opportunities, and for assessing an entity’s climate resilience.
The module begins with a basic introduction to climate-related scenario analysis (Unit 1).
Unit 2 of this module introduces useful, open access sources of information for building climate scenarios.
It is important to note that this content aims to assist you to understand the basic elements of scenario analysis to support general understanding of the concepts referenced in the Corporations Act. It is not guidance, nor does it prescribe what approach your entity should take to scenario analysis.
