Sarah Court commenced as ASIC Chair on 1 June 2026.
One of Australia’s most experienced regulators, Sarah has held senior statutory positions across key economic and corporate regulators for more than 18 years.
Prior to her appointment, Sarah was Deputy Chair of ASIC where she led an uplift in ASIC’s enforcement approach to protect consumers and investors and safeguard Australia’s financial system.
Sarah represents ASIC in key national economic and law enforcement forums including the Council of Financial Regulators, Serious Financial Crime Taskforce and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission. Internationally, Sarah participates in the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Committee for Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Committee.
Before joining ASIC, Sarah was a Commissioner at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for three terms, where she oversaw competition and consumer enforcement, and regulatory policy.
Sarah has also held senior positions at the Australian Government Solicitor, leading national teams across government litigation, including competition and consumer law, administrative law and enforcement matters.
Sarah has held board positions with the Law School and Centre for Regulation and Market Analysis at the University of South Australia.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts (Jurisprudence) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Adelaide, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Kate O’Rourke

Kate commenced as an ASIC Commissioner for a five-year term on 11 September 2023.
She has more than 25 years experience in law and regulation across financial services, markets, and corporations.
Kate joined ASIC from Treasury, where she held senior leadership positions with responsibility for data and digital economic reforms, COVID economic policy responses, small business policy and regulatory frameworks governing market conduct.
Kate previously held senior executive roles at ASIC with responsibility for corporate transactions and governance, and practised in the Sydney and New York offices of the law firm Sullivan and Cromwell.
She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Economics (Social Science) and Law from the University of Sydney, a Master of Laws from the New York University School of Law, and an Executive Master of Public Administration from the University of New South Wales.

Alan Kirkland

Commissioner
Alan commenced as an ASIC Commissioner for a five-year term on 20 November 2023.
He has more than 20 years experience in consumer protection, social services, law reform and justice in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
Most recently, Alan was the CEO at CHOICE where he represented the interests of Australian consumers for more than 11 years.
Earlier, Alan was the Executive Director of the Australian Law Reform Commission, the CEO of Legal Aid New South Wales, Chair of the National Legal Assistance Advisory Body, and Executive Director of the NSW Council of Social Service.
From 2016 to 2017, Alan was a member of the panel for the Ramsay Review, which led to the establishment of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority and Compensation Scheme of Last Resort.
He holds degrees in Arts and Law from the University of NSW, an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Simone Constant

Simone commenced as an ASIC Commissioner for a five-year term on 20 November 2023.
She has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, markets, legal services and risk management.
Most recently, Simone was the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Institutional Bank and Markets at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Simone has also held CRO roles at the National Australia Bank in the corporate, institutional and consumer banks.
She held senior NSW Government positions with the NSW Departments of Treasury, Finance and Education, where she specialised in financial, commercial and risk management.
Simone has also held senior roles in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom at multinational investment, capital management and law firms.
She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Sydney.

Scott Gregson

Chief Executive Officer
As ASIC’s Chief Executive Officer Scott Gregson is responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of ASIC’s organisation strategy and operational and support functions. Scott is accountable for the strategic direction of the executive director team, ASIC’s long-term organisational planning and the implementation of ASIC’s organisational strategy. He drives delivery of cross-group operational and regulatory outcomes, budget development and resource allocation to meet Commission priorities and the Accountable Authority directions.
Scott also leads ASIC’s executive team and chairs ASIC’s Executive Committee.
Scott previously served as CEO (and as Chief Operating Officer) at the ACCC. He spent almost 30 years at the agency, after commencing work as a graduate in 1996 and working in investigation and enforcement roles before moving into executive general manager roles.
Scott is a staunch advocate for consumer rights and protections and supporting effective regulatory programs for consumers, businesses and the community. He is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and effective leadership capability and practices. He is a graduate of Curtin University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Business Law.
Diana Steicke

Executive Director, Registry and Intelligence
As the Executive Director, Registry and Intelligence, Diana is responsible for driving an intelligence-led regulatory approach to ASIC’s decision making, by harnessing data-informed insights and intelligence. This includes the assessment of reports lodged with ASIC and managing information and data flowing into and created by ASIC, as well as international engagement. Diana is also responsible for our Registry business, providing efficient and accessible business registers that make it easier to do business.
Previously, Diana was Senior Executive Leader, Intelligence and International and has held senior leadership roles in enforcement, assessment & intelligence, small business, compliance as Senior Executive Advisor to the CEO. Diana has more than 20 years experience in enforcement, financial services regulation, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to working at ASIC, Diana held senior roles at Herbert Smith Freehills in Melbourne and Linklaters and Citigroup Inc in London. Diana holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide.
Tim Matthews

Senior Executive Leader, Registry Operations
Tim leads ASIC’s Registry Operations function, responsible for shaping strategy, policy, and digital services to deliver efficient, trusted and accessible business registers.
Prior to this, Tim led ASIC’s Frontline Services team, which is responsible for managing the day-to-day ASIC functions associated with companies, business names and other registers.
Tim has more than 18 years’ experience across business registers, including senior leadership roles spanning operations, policy and large‑scale transformation. He played a key role in the return and stabilisation of registry services following the 2025 machinery‑of‑government transition from the Australian Taxation Office to ASIC.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University.
Allan Gaskill

Senior Executive Leader, Registry Frontline Services
Allan leads ASIC’s Registry Frontline Services, overseeing the teams responsible for receiving, assessing, processing and securely maintaining the information provided to ASIC, ensuring it is accessible for public use. He also leads the national contact centre, supporting customers to effectively navigate ASIC’s business registers and services.
Allan brings over 15 years’ experience in public sector leadership, with deep expertise in frontline service delivery, regulatory operations, and large-scale transformation. He has led complex initiatives spanning registry modernisation, digital service reform, and cross-government stakeholder engagement, consistently delivering improved customer outcomes and operational performance.
Peter Witham
Registry and Intelligence
Senior Executive Leader, Regulatory Insights and Assessment
Peter Witham leads ASIC’s Regulatory Insights and Assessment team, which registers and assesses all reports of misconduct, breach notifications and reports from registered liquidators. He also leads our Office of the Whistleblower, ensuring we record and assess the whistleblower disclosures we receive, and communicate with whistleblowers. As the head of ASIC’s national Criminal Intelligence Unit, Peter leads ASIC’s efforts to disrupt and mitigate the harm from organised crime in Australia's corporate and financial sectors.
Peter has worked in the Regulatory Insights and Assessment space since 2004, having joined ASIC from private legal practice. He led ASIC’s Property Law and Unclaimed Monies function between 2010 and 2014. Peter holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University.
Irene Guiamatsia

Senior Executive Leader, Intelligence
Irene Guiamatsia is the Senior Executive Leader, Intelligence, where she leads ASIC’s Intelligence function to support regulatory priorities, strategic decision making and evidence-based outcomes across the organisation.
Before returning to ASIC in her current role, Irene was the Global Head of Research at Investment Trends, leading a team of industry experts and statistical analysts delivering deep insight research into the behaviours, preferences and needs of investors and financial advisers in Australia and internationally.
Irene brings over 20 years’ experience spanning academia, market research and financial regulation. She holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto, and has previously held roles at Imperial College London and the University of Sydney.
Peter Soros

Executive Director, Regulation and Supervision
Peter leads the Regulation and Supervision group, which is responsible for licensing, oversight of regulatory reform and implementation, and specialist surveillance and supervision of all sectors excluding Markets.
Peter was previously Deputy CEO Regulation AUSTRAC, responsible for its regulatory and compliance operations. A key element had been to oversee AUSTRAC’s enforcement activities. He also had responsibility for AUSTRAC’s legal, policy and communication functions. Prior he was acting CEO AUSTRAC.
Before joining ASIC and AUSTRAC, Peter held the positions of Chief of Staff, Minister for Human Services and for the Minister for Justice. Peter has over 20 years of ministerial advisory, financial intelligence, regulation and compliance experience. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree.
Pippa Lane
Regulation and Supervision
Senior Executive Leader, Superannuation and Life Insurance
Pippa leads ASIC’s Superannuation and Life Insurance team within ASIC’s Regulation and Supervision group. She oversees ASIC’s regulatory work associated with the life insurance and superannuation industries.
Prior to joining ASIC, Pippa held senior roles in policy and supervision at the UK Financial Conduct Authority across life insurance, pensions and mortgages. Pippa led financial services policy at Citizens Advice, the UK’s national debt advice charity after starting her career in government research. She holds a PhD in politics and history.
Nathan Bourne
Regulation and Supervision
Senior Executive Leader, Credit, Payments, General Insurance and Indigenous Outreach Program
Nathan leads ASIC’s Credit, Payments, General Insurance and Indigenous Outreach Program team, which is within ASIC’s Regulation and Supervision group. Nathan’s team has primary responsibility for the supervision of general insurance providers, credit intermediaries (including mortgage brokers), consumer and small business credit, and electronic payments. He also oversees ASIC’s Indigenous Outreach Program. Previously, Nathan was ASIC’s Senior Executive Leader in Markets.
Nathan has more than 20 years experience in financial markets, regulation and public policy. Nathan was a Director in Wholesale Compliance at the National Australia Bank. He has also held roles at the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Australian Treasury, the UK Financial Conduct Authority and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities in London. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
Leah Sciacca

Senior Executive Leader, Financial Advice and Investment Management
Leah leads ASIC’s Financial Advice and Investment Management team within the Regulation and Supervision group. The team oversees the regulatory work associated with financial advisers, advice licensees, managed investment schemes, wholesale funds, platforms and managed discretionary accounts. Prior to this role, Leah was ASIC’s Senior Executive Leader, Financial Advisers.
Leah has more than 13 years of regulatory experience and has worked on significant policy and enforcement initiatives. Leah is focused on improving access to good quality affordable advice and working to address conduct in the advice and investment management sectors that leads to poor consumer outcomes. Prior to joining ASIC, Leah was a practising financial adviser for over 10 years, representing several Australian financial services licensees and providing personal advice to retail clients. Leah holds a degree in Business from the Queensland University of Technology as well as a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance.
Claire LaBouchardiere

Senior Executive Leader, Sustainability, Financial Reporting and Audit
Claire leads the Sustainability, Financial Reporting and Audit team within ASIC’s Regulation and Supervision group. She is responsible for the regulation and supervision of financial reporting, sustainability reporting and audit quality and engagement with the reporting and auditing sectors.
Claire has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate law and regulation.
Michael Dorman

Senior Executive Leader, Companies, Registered Liquidators and Small Business
Michael leads ASIC’s Companies, Registered Liquidators and Small Business team. The team is responsible for the regulation and supervision of companies, registered liquidators and small businesses, with a focus on corporate governance and disclosure, conduct of registered liquidators, and engagement with the small business sector.
Michael has previously held roles in ASIC’s Strategic Surveillance & Data and Institutional Supervision teams, leading ASIC's supervision of some of Australia's largest financial institutions. Immediately prior to joining ASIC, Michael held various regulatory roles at AUSTRAC.
Suneeta Sidhu
Regulation and Supervision
Senior Executive Leader, Banking and Strategic Surveillance
Suneeta leads ASIC's Banking and Strategic Surveillance team within the Regulation and Supervision group. She is responsible for supervision of retail banking and conducting complex and cross sectoral surveillances. This includes enhanced supervision of banks with greatest potential impact on consumers. Suneeta has held a range of leadership roles at ASIC including as Chief Supervisory Officer, Institutional Supervision.
Before joining ASIC, Suneeta worked at law firms Gilbert + Tobin and Sly and Weigall (now Norton Rose Fulbright). She has also worked as in-house legal counsel at Westpac Banking Corporation. Suneeta holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Sydney. She also holds a Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Kate Metz

Senior Executive Leader, Regulatory Reform and Implementation
Kate leads ASIC’s Regulatory Reform and Implementation team, which is within ASIC’s Regulation and Supervision group.
Kate was previously ASIC’s Senior Executive Leader, Investment Managers, where she oversaw the regulatory work associated with managed investment schemes, wholesale funds, platforms and managed discretionary accounts.
Kate has more than 20 years of regulatory experience and has worked on significant policy and enforcement initiatives. Prior to this, she was Senior Executive Leader of ASIC’s Financial Advisers team, which regulates Australia’s multi-billion-dollar financial advice industry. During this time, Kate oversaw a number of key projects including unmet advice needs, life insurance advice, advice provided by superannuation funds and advice to set up self-managed superannuation funds. Before joining ASIC, Kate worked as a solicitor in private legal practice, specialising in corporate finance. She has honours degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Melbourne.
Tom O'Shea
Regulation and Supervision
Senior Executive Leader, Licensing
Tom leads ASIC’s Licensing team within the Regulation and Supervision group. The Licensing team serves as the frontline gatekeeper to Australia’s financial services and credit sectors. It has primary responsibility for the assessment of applications relating to financial services licences, credit licences and auditors, and ensuring that only those that meet the statutory requirements are granted a licence.
Tom has spent more than 20 years working at federal regulatory agencies in operations and enforcement. Predominantly working across the employment and workplace relations portfolios, he has held senior leadership positions in operational, policy and corporate roles.
Immediately prior to joining ASIC in September 2023, Tom led corporate services for Australia’s workplace relations regulator, the Fair Work Ombudsman, where he also held the positions of Chief Risk Officer, Chief Security Officer and for more than 10 years was a Senior Executive Specialist.
Tom has experience in leading teams through change and transformation projects, and professional skills in data-driven and intelligence-led regulation.
Calissa Aldridge

Executive Director, Markets
Calissa leads the Markets group, which manages the end-to-end process for regulating markets. This includes supervision, investigation and enforcement for market infrastructure, market intermediaries, corporate finance activities and trading on exchange and over-the-counter markets.
Since 2009, Calissa has had senior leadership roles at ASIC in Market Supervision and Market Infrastructure. Before joining ASIC, she held roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, the UK Financial Services Authority (now the Financial Conduct Authority), Markit, and the Australian Treasury. She has more than 20 years of specialist markets experience and holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Economics) and a PostGradDip in applied finance.
Amanda Zeller
Markets
Senior Executive Leader, Market Systems
Amanda leads the Market Systems team, which brings a system-wide view across public and private markets to support coordinated risk identification and response across ASIC. The team focuses on strengthening market resilience and design outcomes, identifying emerging risks across asset classes and interconnections, and improving visibility of systemic risk build-up, including leverage and concentration.
Amanda previously led the Market Integrity team, where she was responsible for the regulation and supervision of corporate finance transactions and market surveillance. This included oversight of listed companies’ conduct and disclosure in public capital raisings and mergers and acquisitions, as well as ASIC’s work in derivatives and equities surveillance. She has held a number of senior leadership roles at ASIC, including leading the Supervisory Cyber Resilience Program for regulated entities. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of CPA Australia.
Andrew Templer

Senior Executive Leader, Market Integrity
Andrew leads the Market Integrity team, which monitors Australia’s exchange and OTC markets for misconduct including insider trading, continuous disclosure breaches and market manipulation. The Market Integrity team is also responsible for supervision of corporate finance transaction conduct and disclosure in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offers and other public market capital raising.
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and regulation, including previous roles leading ASIC’s Market Conduct team and roles in law and derivative structuring. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws.
Molly Choucair
Markets
Senior Executive Leader, Market Conduct
Molly leads the Market Conduct team, which supervises the conduct of market intermediaries across exchange and OTC markets, including investment banks, market participants, OTC product issuers and wholesale electricity dealers. The team is responsible for administering markets regulation, including the market integrity rules.
Molly has extensive experience in regulatory enforcement and litigation. She previously lead the Markets Enforcement team at ASIC and has held senior roles at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, as well as serving as a senior lawyer for the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Molly holds a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) and Bachelor of Laws.
Dr Rhys Bollen
Markets
Senior Executive Leader, Fintech
Rhys leads ASIC’s Fintech team within the Markets group. He leads the team overseeing crypto and digital assets firms, including preparing for the Government’s proposed law reform in this area. He is also responsible for ASIC’s broader work on digital finance, innovation, and tokenisation (including ASIC’s regulatory sandbox).
His previous roles at ASIC include Senior Executive Leader of the Market Supervision team, Credit, Banking and General Insurance team, the Insurers team and the Investment Managers team. Rhys has also held senior leadership roles at ASIC in the areas of international strategy, consumer protection, and strategic policy.
Rhys has more than 25 years experience as a regulator, academic and public policy practitioner. Before joining ASIC, he was an Executive Director at the NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority, and Assistant Commissioner for Policy and Strategy at NSW Fair Trading. He has also worked in private legal practice. Rhys has a PhD in financial services regulation and Master degrees in both law and business.
Vivienne Tannock
Markets
Senior Executive Leader, Market Infrastructure
Vivienne leads the Market Infrastructure team, bringing over 20 years’ experience in financial and non-financial risk management across publicly listed global banks and advisory firms. Her experiences span periods of significant market stress and structural change, including the volatility associated with the pandemic and different phases of the credit cycle. Her risk-based approach to supervision has focused on driving sustainable risk outcomes through strong governance, clear accountability, risk culture and embedding effective risk frameworks.
Prior to this role, Vivienne was the General Manager in Risk Management at CBA for Institutional Banking, Global Markets and Group Treasury where she led a global team responsible for overseeing non-financial risk management. She has held leadership roles in large scale remediation and transformation programs within the Australian banking sector.
Kerrie Ma
Markets
Senior Executive Leader, Markets Enforcement
Kerrie leads ASIC’s Markets Enforcement team within the Markets Group, overseeing enforcement activities focused on maintaining the integrity of Australia’s financial markets, including offences such as insider trading, market manipulation and continuous disclosure breaches. Kerrie has held a range of roles at ASIC, most recently serving as Senior Executive Leader of one of six investigation teams within the Enforcement and Compliance Group. Kerrie has also acted as Senior Executive Leader of the Fintech team and previously worked as a Senior Specialist in the Markets Enforcement team.
Her experience includes leading complex investigations and litigation involving markets misconduct, and she has developed particular expertise in emerging technologies and digital assets
Kerrie holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
Chris Savundra

Executive Director, Enforcement and Compliance
Chris is the Executive Director responsible for ASIC’s Enforcement and Compliance group. In this role, Chris oversees the leadership, management and strategic direction of ASIC’s enforcement and compliance response to misconduct across all sectors we regulate, except markets.
The ASIC teams in the Enforcement and Compliance group are Enforcement Inquiries and Compliance; Investigations; Special Operations and Enforcement Services.
Previously, Chris was ASIC’s General Counsel and led the Legal Services Group. Prior to that, he was the Senior Executive Leader for the Market Enforcement team and was responsible for the carriage of a number of ASIC’s major market misconduct matters. Before joining ASIC, he worked in the litigation group of Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens) in Perth and Herbert Smith in London. Chris has more than 25 years of legal, regulatory and enforcement experience and holds law degrees from the University of Oxford and the University of Western Australia. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce.
Chris Rowe
Enforcement and Compliance
Senior Executive Leader, Enforcement Inquiries and Compliance
Chris leads ASIC’s Enforcement Inquiries and Compliance team, which makes initial inquiries into possible misconduct across the sectors regulated by ASIC, taking steps to intervene as necessary to prevent ongoing harm to consumers and business and to secure compliance with the corporations and financial services laws.
Chris has close to 20 years’ experience in financial services and markets enforcement teams at ASIC, working on investigations and litigation across a range of superannuation, managed investments, insurance and credit matters. Before commencing his current role, Chris was leading one of ASIC’s Investigation and Enforcement Action teams and was the enforcement portfolio lead for superannuation and life insurance.
Prior to joining ASIC, Chris was a lawyer at the Solicitor for the Northern Territory and in private practice, where his primary focus was commercial litigation, also administrative law and regulatory matters. Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales.
Brett Crawford
Enforcement and Compliance
Senior Executive Leader, Enforcement Services and Chief Investigator
Brett leads the Enforcement Services teams, within ASIC’s Enforcement and Compliance group. Brett is responsible for uplifting ASIC’s investigation capability and leading the enforcement digital strategy and delivering specialist capabilities in evidence processing and management, data analytics, and forensic accounting. Enforcement Services includes the Enforcement Digital Transformation, Evidence Analysis, Evidence Management, Enforcement Data Analytics and the Forensic Accounting teams.
Brett has held various other roles at ASIC, including most recently as a Senior Manager in the Markets Enforcement group, where he oversaw complex investigations. His experience includes investigations across various sectors including audit misconduct, corporations, corporate governance, financial reporting and financial services.
Prior to joining ASIC, Brett was a police officer with the Queensland Police Service for 16 years and worked for a number of years with the Australian Taxation Office, investigating tax evasion. He holds a Master of Arts in Fraud and Financial Crime from Charles Sturt University and a Graduate Diploma in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing.
Brendan Caridi

Senior Executive Leader, Investigations
Brendan leads one of ASIC’s five Investigation teams within the Enforcement and Compliance group and is the portfolio lead for Corporations, Auditors & Liquidators sectors.
Brendan was previously ASIC’s Senior Executive Leader, Corporations and Corporate Governance Enforcement where he oversaw enforcement action associated with corporations, corporate governance, insolvency practitioners, auditors, financial reporting and the whistleblower regime.
Brendan has more than 20 years of experience in investigations, enforcement and litigation, holding a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics.
Marita Hogan
Enforcement and Compliance
Senior Executive Leader, Investigations
Marita leads one of ASIC’s five Investigation teams within the Enforcement and Compliance group and is the portfolio lead for Greenwashing Enforcement, Investment Management and Financial Advice sectors.
Previously, Marita was ASIC’s Senior Executive Leader, Financial Services Enforcement, leading the Wealth Management Enforcement team. In this role, she oversaw ASIC’s enforcement work in the superannuation and investment management sectors and built ASIC’s enforcement pipeline for the superannuation sector following the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry. Marita has previously held senior roles in a number of ASIC teams, including Financial Services Enforcement, the Wealth Management project team, Corporate Governance and Financial Advisers. Most recently, Marita has been leading ASIC’s ESG greenwashing enforcement actions as well as ASIC’s enforcement pipeline for design and distribution obligations.
Before joining ASIC, Marita was a Senior Associate at major national law firm. She has more than 20 years’ experience in regulation, enforcement and the law, and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (Hons).
Natasha Haslam

Natasha leads one of ASIC’s five Investigation teams in the Enforcement and Compliance Group and is the portfolio lead for Credit & Banking and Life Insurance sectors. Natasha has held various roles at ASIC, including most recently as a Group Senior Manager, Financial Service Enforcement. Her experience includes more than 16 years at ASIC in investigation and litigation across the financial services and corporate sectors. Prior to joining ASIC, Natasha was a commercial litigation lawyer in private practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide.
Wendy Endebrock-Brown

Senior Executive Leader, Investigations
Wendy leads one of ASIC’s five Investigation teams within the Enforcement and Compliance group. In this role she oversees 7 teams investigating complex misconduct across all sectors regulated by ASIC, including market misconduct. Wendy’s previous role at ASIC was Senior Executive Leader, Enforcement WA.
Prior to joining ASIC, Wendy held the position of Director Legal Services at the Corruption and Crime Commission (WA) and before that, she worked at the Australian Government Solicitor as a Senior Executive Lawyer leading the law enforcement practice in Perth.
Wendy specialises in government legal and law enforcement work and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Western Australia.

Emma leads one of ASIC’s five Investigation teams within the Enforcement and Compliance group and is the portfolio lead for Small Business Enforcement and Criminal sectors. Most recently Emma worked as a workstream lead on the ASX Inquiry, and before that was a Senior Manager of an investigation team in Enforcement and Compliance where she oversaw complex investigations across various sectors including corporations, corporate governance and financial services, that resulted in the commencement of civil litigation and criminal prosecutions. Prior to joining ASIC Emma was a Commissioned Officer with NSW Police Service.
Catherine Iles

Senior Executive Leader, Special Operations
Catherine leads a Special Operations unit within the Enforcement and Compliance group which investigates suspected misconduct and takes enforcement action across ASIC’s remit. She is also the portfolio lead for the Superannuation sector.
Previously, Catherine was a Senior Executive Leader in the Financial Services Enforcement (FSE) team. The FSE team took enforcement action in relation to breaches of the Corporations, ASIC and Credit Acts by financial services entities in the credit, retail banking, and insurance sectors. Catherine has acted as Senior Executive Leader for Enforcement WA and ASIC’s Criminal Intelligence Unit and held roles in ASIC's Markets Enforcement team. Prior to joining ASIC, Catherine worked as a litigation lawyer at the Australian Government Solicitor and in private practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide.
Karl Wong

Senior Executive Specialist, Enforcement Digital Transformation
Karl leads the Enforcement Digital Transformation team within the Enforcement and Compliance group. Karl and his team are responsible for developing the Digital and Data Strategy for Enforcement, and the strategic management and oversight of key Enforcement Digital and Data projects. These efforts will enhance ASIC's use of data, intelligence and technology to inform and streamline compliance, investigation and enforcement activities to improve consumer outcomes. Previously Karl held leadership roles in other ASIC programs including the Regulatory Transformation Program, and the ASIC Digital Transformation Program.
Karl has more than 20 years of technology experience across a number of industries including Government, Finance & Banking, Real Estate, and Media & Publishing, including leadership roles specialising in business-technology strategy, technology architecture and transformation delivery.
Kate Hebbard

Senior Executive Specialist, Enforcement and Compliance
Kate is a Senior Executive Specialist at ASIC supporting Investigation and Enforcement teams on investigations, litigation and projects in the Enforcement and Compliance Group.
Kate is on secondment to ASIC for 12 months from the ACCC where she is General Manager of Enforcement in the Consumer and Fair-Trading Division.
For over 20 years, Kate has worked at the ACCC in several roles, including as a senior executive.
She has led teams on priority investigations and litigation in consumer protection, competition matters and telecommunications regulation.
Kate has also designed and delivered investigative skills training to build capability for ASEAN regulators in Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University.
Amy Nichol

Amy commenced as General Counsel and Executive Director of Legal Services in 2025.
She has more than 25 years of experience in Commonwealth government legal practice, including at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Amy leads the Legal Services Group which provides legal services and advice to ASIC on regulatory, enforcement and corporate matters.
Prior to joining ASIC, Amy was the Chief Counsel at the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, where she was responsible for the provision of legal advice on policy, regulatory and operational matters in relation to biosecurity, agriculture and exports.
Jeff Derix

Jeff Derix is ASIC’s Deputy General Counsel – Corporate Legal Services, and has over 20 years of legal advisory experience specialising in procurement, commercial, corporate and information / technology law across both the private and public sectors. Jeff’s most recent role was with Services Australia where he was their Chief Counsel, managing the agency’s legal services division and where he was a member of the agency’s senior executive team. Prior to joining Services Australia, Jeff was a partner of the national law firm, Maddocks specialising in commercial law, contracting, procurement, corporate governance and probity.
Conrad Gray

Conrad Gray is ASIC’s Deputy General Counsel – Enforcement Legal Services, overseeing the Civil Litigation, Criminal Practice, and Administrative Law teams. This follows his tenure as Special Counsel – Civil Litigation since 2015, where he led the Civil Litigation team. Conrad has also, during his time at ASIC, filled the roles of Commission Counsel (2 years), Litigation Counsel (6 years) and senior lawyer in Enforcement (5 years). Prior to joining ASIC, Conrad worked in civil litigation for 8 years at the Legal Aid Commission of NSW and community legal centres.
Jennifer Dolphin

Deputy General Counsel, Regulatory Legal Services
Jen is Deputy General Counsel – Regulatory Legal Services.
In this role Jen leads ASIC’s Regulatory Legal Services team, which is responsible for providing legal services to support ASIC’s non-enforcement regulatory activities. This includes legal services relating to high risk or high complexity regulatory legal matters, legislative instruments, law reform and new areas of regulatory responsibility for ASIC. The team includes ASIC’s Property Law and Registry Interactions and Services functions.
Jen is currently responsible for leading the Machinery of Government change to transition registry functions from the ATO to ASIC.
Jen has more than 18 years of legal and regulatory experience in a variety of roles at ASIC, including as a senior lawyer specialising in financial markets regulation. Before joining ASIC, Jen worked as a financial intelligence analyst for the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) and as a legal editor in both London and Sydney. Jen has a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Sydney.

Chris is the Chief Hearing Delegate for ASIC. She has been a Hearing Delegate since 2012 and has also held roles in various other teams within ASIC, including Corporate Finance, Markets Regulation, the Compliance Legal Team and Market Participants and Stockbrokers.
Joanne Harper

Executive Director, Digital, Data and Technology
Jo oversees ASIC’s transformation agenda across digital, data and technology, ASIC’s Registry business, and the delivery of ASIC’s cyber security program.
Previously, as Digital Lead, Digital Transformation, Jo managed the ASIC Digital Transformation Program, delivering ASIC’s vision of being a digitally enabled, data-informed regulator. Prior to this, she held roles as ASIC’s Chief Information Officer and IT Program Director.
Before joining ASIC, Jo worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years in several roles. Her areas of specialisation include project delivery, technology governance and risk. Jo has a particular interest in promoting young women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and she is a founding member of the Sydney-based Senior Women in Technology Group (SWIT). Jo was previously appointed to the international examinations board for the MSP, PRINCE2, P3O and Managing Benefits qualifications.
Melanie Evans

Melanie oversees ASIC’s digital, data and technology functions, including enterprise transformation, cyber security, digital delivery and technology strategy.
Melanie is an experienced executive with expertise in digital transformation, data and AI, cyber security, technology governance and operating model design. She is recognised for building high performing teams and delivering technology outcomes in complex organisations.
Before joining ASIC, Melanie held executive leadership roles at Ventia and Telstra, and senior advisory roles at KPMG and IBM Consulting, where she led major transformation programs across enterprise and government.
Melanie is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW), and has been recognised by iTnews as Technology Leader of the Year and Industrial Technology Leader.
Mark Pearce

Senior Executive Leader, Chief Technology Office
As the Chief Technology Officer, Mark leads the Information Technology team, which is within ASIC’s Digital, Data and Technology group. He is responsible for technical leadership into the future state technical strategy, focussing on increasing technology capability that supports government reform, improving user experience through innovation, providing core technology services and ensuring ASIC is cyber resilient. Previously, as ASIC’s Chief Information Officer, Mark oversaw the information technology strategy and operations and was responsible for the supply of technology solutions and services to ASIC, internally and externally. Before that, he was ASIC’s Head of Infrastructure Services.
Prior to joining ASIC, Mark worked across various verticals including finance, transport and logistics, and retail sectors in a range of roles in strategy, cloud, end user computing and IT infrastructure. Mark holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Wollongong and qualifications from the Securities Institute of Australia in Applied Finance and Economics.
Jamie Norton

Senior Executive Leader, Chief Information Security Officer
Jamie Norton is the Chief Information Security Officer at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. He leads ASIC’s cyber and information security functions, supporting the organisation’s enterprise resilience.
Prior to joining ASIC, Jamie was a Partner at corporate advisory and restructuring firm McGrathNicol. He has held senior security leadership roles across government and industry, including Chief Information Security Officer roles at the Australian Taxation Office and with international and technology organisations such as the World Health Organization, NEC and Check Point.
Jamie serves as Vice Chair of the global board of ISACA and is an advisor to several organisations. He has contributed to a range of national and international initiatives, including the Australian Cyber Security Strategy and the ASD IRAP programs. Jamie is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Information Technology from the ANU, and CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEGIT, CIPM certifications.
Graham Jefferson

Senior Executive Leader, Data, Analytics and AI
Graham is the Senior Executive Leader for Data, Analytics and AI for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). He has responsibility for data strategy, data management and is ASIC’s Chief AI Officer.
Graham studied law and computer science at the Australian National University. He worked as an analyst programmer for the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department before specialising in information technology law. Much of his career has been spent in-house with financial services institutions including Barclays (London), Standard Chartered (London), Deutsche Bank (London, Sydney and Singapore) and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Sydney). His practice evolved with the technology and embraced legal work arising from Y2K, eCommerce, data protection and privacy regimes, offshore outsourcing, cloud computing, cybersecurity and most recently, AI.
Paul Franklin

Paul leads ASIC’s RegistryConnect program, which has been established to deliver the stabilisation and targeted uplift of ASIC’s business registers. This program is pivotal to securing our economic infrastructure, ensuring it operates with efficiency, reliability and forward-looking resilience. The program unites teams across multiple domains including external engagement, law and policy design, and technology and data teams to achieve its objectives.
Michael McCulloch

Senior Executive Specialist, RegistryConnect Program Integration and Technology
Michael is the senior IT Supplier on ASIC’s RegistryConnect program, a team within the Digital, Data and Technology group. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that all IT requirements across the program are successfully delivered. His previous role at ASIC was as Senior Executive Specialist, IT Service Delivery, with responsibility for all of ASIC’s IT systems, applications and IT Security.
Before joining ASIC, Michael was a Senior Executive at IBM Australia, having also held roles there as Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager and Asia Pacific Data Centre Manager.
Gethin Constable

Senior Executive Specialist, Digital Delivery
Gethin leads ASIC’s Digital Delivery within the Digital, Data and Technology Group. He is responsible for delivery of a range of digital programs across ASIC’s regulatory and registry environments.
Prior to joining ASIC, Gethin worked in a number of private and government organisations including the Digital Transformation Agency. His most recent role was with Avanade where he led the Public Sector Advisory Practice across the Asia-Pacific.
Christine Galea

Senior Executive Leader, Digital
Christine heads up ASIC’s Digital Hub, which is responsible for managing and delivering continuous improvements to key systems including the ASIC (Regulatory) Portal, corporate website, and internal case systems, as well as the provision of design services aimed at improving ASIC’s digital channels and the way that technology is used to support employees. Christine is also the chair for a portfolio of work overseeing the delivery of technology-based projects that enable law reform, enhancements, and the use of new technology.
With over 20 years of regulatory experience, Christine has worked across a number of teams within ASIC, including Enforcement covering business management, reporting and analytics, and supporting major taskforces. More recently, she has delivered and then led a major transformation program underpinning ASIC’s regulatory case work.
Peter Dunlop

Executive Director, Enterprise Services
As the Executive Director of the Enterprise Services Group, Peter leads ASIC’s Finance; Procurement, Property and Contracts; Performance Reporting and Planning; and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functions. He is passionate about pursuing opportunities to enhance internal capabilities to work efficiently and effectively in an environment that best supports both ASIC’s people and stakeholders.
Over the past two decades, Peter has supported organisations in navigating complex financial management matters and transformation initiatives. Before joining ASIC, he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the Australian Sports Commission and Deputy CFO at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Peter has also held senior finance roles at the Department of Finance and the Australian Reward Investment Alliance.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Business, a Master of Professional Accounting, a Master of Applied Finance, and is a Fellow with CPA Australia.
Currently, Peter is the Regional Commissioner of ASIC’s office in the Australian Capital Territory.

Mitch is a finance and technology transformation leader with over 20 years experience spanning private and public sectors, both domestically and internationally. Mitch has a strong interest in Australian reporting requirements and how they apply to complex accounting transactions. He also remains an advocate for simplifying financial statements and associated reporting.
His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer and Director, Professional Services at the Australian National Audit Office, Partner of a financial advisory firm, Director of Financial Services of the Australian Sports Commission and lead of ASIC’s Enterprise Resource Planning Program at ASIC.
Mitch holds a Bachelor of Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Information Technology, and has a passion for using technology to improve the ways we work.
Nicole O’Mally (Acting)

Program Director, Financial Platforms and Enablement
Nicole O’Mally leads ASIC’s Financial Platforms and Enablement team, including the Administered Revenue Management System (ARMS) Replacement Project. A Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience across both private and public sectors, Nicole has driven numerous system implementations and technology-led transformations, including financial, travel, and payroll systems.
She brings deep expertise in delivering complex programs and managing the change and stakeholder engagement that accompanies large-scale transformation initiatives. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Accounting, is a Chartered Accountant, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is passionate about leveraging technology to improve the way organisations operate and deliver outcomes.
Fleur Edgerton

Senior Executive Leader, Procurement, Property and Contracts
Fleur Edgerton is the Senior Executive Leader, Procurement and is accountable for the provision of organisational wide procurement. She commenced in November 2024.
Fleur has held executive leadership roles in procurement and commercial management and has a wealth of experience in driving significant transformational change within complex and global organisations. Fleur’s experience spans public companies, commonwealth and state government environments leading teams in procurement and commercial management, strategic sourcing, and governance.
Fleur joins us from Airservices Australia where she was Head of Procurement and Commercial Services and led organisation-wide procurement, commercial and supplier relationships and performance, supporting the safe management of 11% of the global airspace.
Prior to this, Fleur held senior roles as the General Manager of Sourcing & Partnership, Innovation and Transformation with MLC Life Insurance, where she led a team of 30 and a commercial function that re-platformed the business on integrated modern technology and established the procurement function to rebuild MLC Life Insurance as a successful independent entity.
Other roles for Fleur included being Head of ICT Strategic Procurement at Ausgrid, Head of IT Business and Commercial Management at Roads Maritime and Services, and Head of Commercial Projects, Strategic Partnerships and Technology at Westpac.
Fleur completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) with INSEAD in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Tasmania.
Lynne Machin

Senior Executive Leader, Planning and Performance
Lynne is the senior executive leader for business planning and performance reporting. Lynne has extensive experience in driving a performance-oriented culture across private and public sector organisations and diverse industries.
Lynne’s skills include strategy, business planning, governance, risk, internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement and policy. Prior to joining ASIC, Lynne was chief of staff to the Chief Risk Officer, Institutional Banking and Markets at CBA. Lynne has also led public engagement and government relations at Transport for NSW, specifically for the Sydney motorways program, including WestConnex and NorthConnex. She also led the communication and government relations group at NSW Treasury where she led the communication strategy for the NSW Budget and Intergenerational Report.
Lynne holds a BA (Communications) (UTS) and a Master of Public Affairs, Merit (University of Sydney).
Emily McMahon

Emily is responsible for the development and delivery of ASIC’s internal audit program. Prior to joining ASIC, Emily provided internal audit and risk consulting services to federal government entities. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Information Systems), a Graduate Certificate in Internal Auditing and is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Zack Gurdon

As Chief Risk Officer, Zack is responsible for ASIC’s enterprise risk management and compliance frameworks, integrity and fraud management program (including Speak Up), protective security and business resilience arrangements. Most recently, Zack was General Manager, Group Risk, Compliance and Resilience with NBN. Prior to this he spent 12 years with Telstra in a range of senior risk and security leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Master of Security Management. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Zoe Viellaris

Executive Director, Strategy and Corporate Affairs
Zoe leads ASIC’s Strategy and Corporate Affairs group, which includes the External Communications, Government Relations, Group Communications, Corporate Affairs, CEO and Advisory, and International teams. She is responsible for strategic and corporate communications, media relations, government relations, employee communications, digital and consumer communications, Commission and CEO advisory, international strategy, as well as the ASIC Moneysmart program.
Zoe has deep experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver corporate affairs and communication strategies in financial, regulatory, and corporate environments. Prior to joining ASIC, Zoe served as Communications Director at Westpac Banking Corporation where she led the strategic communication response to the bank’s culture, governance and accountability program. Zoe was previously the General Manager of Group Communications at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) responsible for external and internal communications across the bank. During her eight years at CBA, she held senior roles leading communications and public affairs for the Wealth Management and Retail Banking Services divisions.
Zoe has also held roles at several financial services organisations, including Perpetual and MLC. These roles spanned marketing, brand, communications, and corporate affairs. Zoe holds a Master of Arts (Organisational Communication) from Charles Sturt University and is completing her MBA at the University of New South Wales. Currently Zoe is serving as a board director for the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and is president of the PRIA NSW Council.
Shelley Denniss

Shelley is responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the CEO in the delivery of ASIC’s long-term organisational planning and strategy. Shelley has more than 20 years' experience across finance, operations and governance, and most recently was ASIC’s Chief Internal Auditor. Before joining ASIC Shelley was the CFO for Dakota Capital and Axle Capital and held senior finance and operational roles in the financial services sector. She is a chartered accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (hons).
Ben Cohn-Urbach

Ben is responsible for overseeing a set of strategic projects at ASIC. Ben has extensive experience at ASIC, including in strategic planning, intelligence and regulatory efficiency. He has held previous senior roles in the Markets teams, including as Senior Executive Leader for Market Infrastructure and Group Senior Manager for Market Conduct.
Ben previously worked in the United States for the Futures Industry Association, a global trade organisation for the futures, options and centrally cleared derivatives markets, and for the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority, focusing on over-the-counter derivatives market reforms. Ben started his career as a supervisor at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Gerard Fitzpatrick

Senior Executive Specialist, International
Gerard (Ged) is responsible for International at ASIC. The team engages closely with peer regulatory authorities and international organisations to develop international regulatory policy and coordinate international cooperation requests. In this role, Ged has led across a range of international regulatory, economic and risk issues, developed innovative cooperation arrangements and provided capacity building initiatives. Ged’s previous roles at ASIC include leading Investment Managers and Superannuation and earlier, Credit.
Before joining ASIC, Ged led policy and government relations at the Financial Planning Association of Australia and held senior leadership roles at the Institutional Money Market Funds Association and Investment Management Association in London. Ged's previous regulatory roles included markets and international responsibilities at the UK FSA (precursor to the FCA) and international economic analysis and prudential supervision at the Bank of England. An economist by training, Ged also taught economic and business-related topics at universities in the UK.
Annie Reeves

Executive Director, People and Culture
As the Executive Director of the People and Culture group, Annie is responsible for supporting employees to achieve ASIC’s vision and mission and championing ASIC’s culture and transformation strategies.
Prior to joining ASIC, Annie held people and culture leadership roles in the Victorian Government and legal and corporate sectors. She has over 20 years experience navigating organisations through cultural evolution and complex transformation initiatives, leading workforce management change agendas and designing and implementing highly-effective diversity and leadership programs.
Annie holds a Master of Business (Human Resources) from Swinburne University.
