CP 23 Licensing: External and internal dispute resolution procedures

This policy proposal paper deals with the obligation under 912A(g) of the Financial Services Reform Bill 2001 (the Bill) for a financial services licensee to have external and internal dispute resolution procedures approved by ASIC. To give context to the policies raised in this paper it is important you read this paper in conjunction with Policy Statement 139 Approval of external complaints resolution schemes [PS 139].
