Superannuation CEO Roundtables are a joint initiative of ASIC and APRA to engage with top executives of a cross-section of superannuation funds.

26 April 2024 - ASIC and APRA release Superannuation CEO Roundtable notes

ASIC and APRA have released the public notes on the Superannuation CEO Roundtables held on Wednesday, 27 March and Thursday, 28 March 2024.

The Roundtables were hosted by Simone Constant, Commissioner, ASIC and Carmen Beverley‑Smith, Executive Director, APRA. They were attended by 20 superannuation trustee CEOs and other executives, representing a broad cross-section of the industry.

ASIC and APRA have released the public notes on the fifth Superannuation CEO Roundtable held on Wednesday 27 September 2023.

The Roundtable was hosted by ASIC Senior Executive Leader Jane Eccleston and APRA Deputy Chair Margaret Cole. It was attended by 10 superannuation trustee CEOs and executives, representing a broad cross-section of the industry.

The event focused on sustainable finance disclosures and the Retirement Income Covenant.

The Roundtable was hosted by ASIC Commissioner Danielle Press and APRA Deputy Chair Margaret Cole. It was attended by 14 superannuation trustee CEOs and executives, representing a broad cross-section of the industry, as well as a representative of the ATO.

The event focused on cyber resilience.

A new instrument ASIC Superannuation (Disclosure and Reporting Consistency Obligations) Instrument 2023/941 continues the relief previously provided under ASIC Class Order [CO 14/541] which is due to expire on 1 January 2024.

OnePath Custodians penalised $5 million for fees for no service misconduct

29 November 2023

The Federal Court has ordered OnePath Custodians Pty Ltd to pay a penalty for making false or misleading representations about its right to continue charging fees, and for failing to provide services to members efficiently, honestly and fairly due to its misleading conduct and by deducting fees when not entitled to do so.

HESTA trustee pays infringement notices for misleading marketing
